Huan Lum (เฮือนลำ) is the kitchen at the heart of BLU Marine — and the only proper Northern Thai restaurant in our part of Hua Hin. “Huan” is Lanna for home; “Lum” speaks to comfort and shelter. The food is what you’d hope to find in a friend’s house in Chiang Mai: slow-cooked curries, hand-shaped sausages, fresh herbs by the handful, sticky rice in a basket, cold drinks by the pool.

We serve breakfast every morning for in-house guests, lunch and dinner daily for guests and walk-ins, and in-villa dining for long-stay guests who’d rather not leave their balcony.

Signature dishes:

• Khao Soi Gai — Coconut curry noodles with chicken, crispy noodle nest, pickled greens, shallots, lime
• Sai Ua — House-made Northern Thai sausage with lemongrass, kaffir lime, and chilli
• Nam Prik Ong — Slow-simmered tomato and minced pork relish with crispy pork skin and fresh vegetables
• Nam Prik Noom — Roasted green chilli dip with grilled fish, sticky rice, and crackling
• Gaeng Hung Lay — Burmese-influenced pork belly curry with ginger, tamarind, and peanuts
• Larb Khua Mu — Dry-toasted minced pork salad with toasted rice powder and crispy garlic
• Khao Niao — Sticky rice, basket-steamed

International breakfast is also available daily — eggs cooked your way, fresh fruit, bakery, juices, espresso.

Drinks: A short, well-edited list. Northern Thai herbal teas, Thai craft beer, a tight wine list of bottles that survive Hua Hin’s heat, and a small cocktail menu built around local spirits.

The space: Indoor dining with Lanna textile accents and warm timber. Outdoor garden terrace — shaded, breezy, and pet-friendly, so your dog can stretch out next to you while you eat.
